Soups (Moch)

  1. Qarooth Moch (Qarooth Soup): Soup were prepared by making noodles from bread and later mixed qarooth. Some time meat was also mixed. This is the common type of soup and most of the people still prepare this.

  2. Qaq Moch (Dried Apricot Soup): This was very famous old time soup. This is now replaced by the use of tea. The noodles were prepared from Baqla dough and later wheat bread with which dried apricot was mixed and boiled.

  3. Serk Moch (Apricot Kernal Soup): This is same as that of other soup but here the apricot kernals are crashed and mixed with soup.

  4. Gushth Moch (Meat Soup):  This is the common type of soup and is still prepared every where. Meat is boiled in water with bread noodles.

  5. Sathk Moch: This type of soup was mostly prepared for patients. The soup is prepared by first frying wheat flour and later mixing water with it.
