Karakoram Research Catalogue (KRC)  is a database on a variety of fragmented and scattered published research works, books, travelogues, images, journals and other web resources mainly about the Northern Areas of Pakistan.  Some of the research works are also available in electronic forms.

The main objective of KRC is to provide centralized  information about the state of research and other intellectual endeavors about the region to researchers, writers, students and academics for a more coordinated research activities in future.

The amalgamation of a variety of research works will facilitate exploration and research activities in Northern Areas in particular and in mountain regions in general.
