Razhaks

  home

Razhak  is a  Wakhi word means a small common open space. During old times each family has their own Rajhks where people in sunny days during relaxing afternoon sit together to discuss different issues of common interests. The elders from at these Razhaks place orally transferred the histories, folklores and stories to the new generations. These were constructed in every village and in Gulmit just outside the old settlements and around the polo ground. Now these Razhaks have almost ruined out.
